From Lockdown to Limited Editions

It started in 2020. Stuck in South Africa during the pandemic, unable to return to Dubai. Like countless other creatives, I found myself with an abundance of time and a familiar question.

The freelance projects were sparse. The clients, fewer. But something else was taking shape—a thought that most agency creatives know well but rarely act on. What if I created purely for myself?

The realization was simple: my best work had always been personal. The pieces created without briefs, without committees, without compromise. Just an idea and the freedom to explore it.

This became the catalyst for TIGERFIGHT.

I'd watched talented designers showcase incredible work on platforms that never quite matched their vision. Mass-market print sites. Unlimited editions. Race-to-the-bottom pricing. The work deserved better. The artists deserved better. The collectors certainly deserved better.

So I chose a different path. Limited editions only. Quality without compromise. A platform where scarcity isn't a marketing tactic—it's a principle.

TIGERFIGHT exists because creative work needs space to breathe. Because when you remove the brief and the bureaucracy, something genuine emerges. Because sometimes the best client is no client at all.
