"CHAM LAMA"
"Cham Lama" originated from my fascination with how cultures transform the human face into something transcendent through physical crafts. The mask becomes a bridge, between the everyday and the sacred, the individual and the collective.
Flowers bloom across the surface, not as decoration but as connection. They represent cycles that every culture understands: growth, death, renewal. The patterns speak to something universal while honoring something specific.
Part of the Cultural Bloom series, this piece within the catalogue of works explores how tradition and nature intertwine, how communities sometimes use beauty to express what words cannot.
