"Predator & Prey" speaks to our tendency to turn the simplest moments into elaborate productions. The setup, the anticipation, the inevitable conclusion, often all delivered with overblown theatrics. We plan and overthink until we've squeezed the spontaneity out of everything. What should be pure fun becomes a carefully orchestrated event where the joy gets lost in the execution.

I wanted to create a piece about perspective, drama, and our talent for complicating what should be effortless.
